Privacy notice

Who we are

Northward Logic LLC (“Northward”, “we”) builds and hosts websites for businesses and organizations. This notice covers our website, inquiries and outreach, customer accounts and orders, and our role for the websites we host.

Information you provide

We receive the name, business name, email, optional phone number, message and contact permission you submit in an enabled inquiry form or send by email. Submitted inquiries are recorded so we can respond and keep a record of your request.

The Starter preview asks for private order-contact details, a template choice, public business information, branding and page notes. With checkout disabled, those signup details stay in the current page and have not been submitted as an order. If ordering is enabled, order information supports billing, website customization, preview review and service requests. Private order contact details are separate from the business details you choose to publish; showing a public street address is optional.

Please leave out passwords, full payment details, health records and other confidential records. This website is intended for business inquiries, not sensitive records.

Business outreach

We sometimes email businesses and organizations using contact details they publish, such as a club’s listed officer address, to offer our services. Reply “no thanks” or “unsubscribe”, or email [email protected], and we will stop. We keep a record of opt-outs so we do not contact you again.

Websites we host for customers

When we host a website for a customer, information that visitors submit through that site, such as tee-time bookings, inquiries and member forms, is collected for that customer. We process it only on the customer’s instructions to provide the service. The customer’s own privacy notice governs it; please send requests about that information to the business that runs the site.

Service providers

We use service providers for website delivery, security, email, payments and AI-assisted work. Information shared depends on the feature being used:

• Cloudflare, for website delivery and security, which sees basic request information such as IP addresses;
• Google Workspace, for email. Our mailbox is currently hosted in the Google Workspace of our parent company, Golden Sky Holdings, and is accessible to Northward’s managers;
• Stripe, for payments and sales tax. Stripe collects your card, billing name and address on its own hosted checkout; we receive your email, subscription status and limited card details such as the brand and last four digits, never full card numbers. Stripe’s privacy notice describes its handling of payment information;
• OpenAI and Anthropic, for AI-assisted replies, website content and changes. Relevant messages and content may be sent to these providers. Their applicable service terms and data settings govern their processing and retention.

Information may be stored or processed on our infrastructure and by service providers in the United States and other countries where they operate, subject to applicable requirements. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We use only strictly necessary first-party cookies: to link an inquiry to a later order, to keep you signed in and to protect forms from forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or tags. Our site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, and we do not track you across other websites.

How long we keep information

We retain information as needed to provide the service, handle requests, maintain security, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Deletion may exclude records we must retain; backup copies may remain until replaced through the normal backup cycle.

Security and children

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and service, but no system is completely secure. We provide security-incident notices as applicable law requires. Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use it to collect children’s information or regulated sensitive records without a separate written agreement addressing the applicable requirements.

Your requests

Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion, to exercise applicable privacy rights, or to stop follow-up. We handle requests within the periods required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Please do not send identity documents or secrets unless we arrange a secure method. Legal exceptions may limit what we can provide or delete.

Changes to this notice

Updates appear on this page with a revised date. We provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law or an existing agreement.
